  1. 3.5 stars.Reissued with a new cover as part of the Single Dad Romance line, this book has been taken from the Hollywood Hills multi author series, but stands alone perfectly well As a medical romance it focuses on the romance than the medical aspect, so if you re looking for an easy romantic read with hot doctors and a glamorously vague background, but not much gore or jargon, then this definitely fits the bill Especially if you like cute kids, gorgeous working dogs and a dad devoted to his you [...]

  2. This is, in my opinion, the perfect military romance for those who are seeking one The PSD element that the heroine Abi faces is done so well and it makes you connect with her instantly kristalmckerringtons.

  3. I don t normally like medical romance books, but this one drew me in from the first chapter and loved it as I continued reading.Abi Thompson has a lot of trust issues and this goes back to her childhood were her mother became a alcoholic after Abi s father left when she was a baby, while she growing up Abi had to look after herself and at seventeen she joined the army and trained in the medical school and she is a specialist in plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery. These skills became via [...]

  4. This was a pleasant enough romance, I could have done with a little story and a little chemistry but all in all it was entertaining enough I found the whole thing very sweet but not very deep I did really love that the main female character was a war vet as that is something I am used to seeing with male characters It was great to see a female solder represented here.

  5. A lovely story about two people overcoming past demons, to find a love that is special and providing love and support to a beautiful child Highly recommended

  6. This is such a great story it is emotional and moving as Dr Abi Thompson takes a job at the the Hollywood Hills Clinic after returning from Afghanistan Abi is suffering from PTSD and still has a few problems with some things but her work as a re constructive surgeon never falters that she is great at and she has the help of her assistance dog Jonty Abi has been through a lot in her life but she is very strong in so many ways and is determined to get on with her life but with just her and Jonty b [...]

  7. I liked it, for a Harlequin book, but I m guessing the author is Australian There were many Australian idioms in the book that wouldn t be used by Americans The characters and the setting L.A are in the U.S so the author should be careful to keep the speech appropriate for the locale BTW, it s spelled curb not kerb We say operating room not surgical theatre They are called nurses , not sister nurses Intensive Care Unit, not definitive observation unit, and so on The editor should have caught th [...]
