Cheri Paris Edwards is the author of Plenty Good Room and the The Other Sister Edwards work has been praised by Booklist and Publisher s Weekly She is originally from the Midwest and makes her home now in North Central Texas along with her toy poodle Mocha.Edwards has a Masters in English in the areas of Composition and Rhetoric from Texas Woman s University She is a Teaching Fellow at The University of North Texas where she is a Doctoral Candidate in American Literature She is also an adjunct Professor at Tarrant County College in Fort Worth Texas.Edwards is in the process of finishing her novel, Telling Stories, and working on her dissertation, More than a Smorgasbord Decoding Skin Color in Writings by Marita Bonner, Zora Neale Hurston and Dorothy West.
